Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari has reacted to winning his second title in the 2022-2023 season with Serbian club Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade).
Bukari helped Red Star beat Cukaricki 2-1 in this year’s Serbian Cup final that had Aleksandar Pesic scoring twice to secure the win and title for the Serbian giant.
Bukari played 55 minutes and got substituted by Luka Adzic while fellow Black Stars winger, Samuel Owusu, who plays for Cukaricki missed out on winning a debut title with his side.
Reacting to his second title win in his first season with Red Star, Bukari stated on his Twitter page:
“Hard earned one, this was how it meant to us. Thank you all for your love and support and all your congratulatory messages. Alhamdullilah for everything!”
24-year-old Bukari joined Red Star from French Ligue 1 side Nantes on a four-year deal that is expected to end on June 30, 2026.
His debut run in Serbia has been successful after recording 15 goals and adding 10 assists in 40 games across all competitions including five games in the Europa League and four games in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round.
Bukari scored against Portugal in Ghana’s campaign at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Hard earned one, this was how it meant to us. Thank you all for your love and support and all your congratulatory messages.🔴⚪️🔥
