Dundee United Football Club is all but relegated from the Scottish Premier League after suffering a 0-3 loss to Kilmarnock ahead of the season finale against Motherwell on Sunday, May 28.
Ghanaian winger Mathew Anim Cudjoe was not in the Dundee squad that lost to a brace from Kyle Vassell and an 83rd minute goal from Innes Cameron.
The 19-year-old has featured in three games for Dundee in the relegation round of games in the Scottish League including Dundee’s 1-2 loss to Livingstone this past weekend.
Losing to Kilmarnock heavily dents Dundee’s chances of staying up in the league and Dundee head coach Jim Goodwill conveyed that message in his post-game interview.
“I’m the biggest optimist there is but we’ve got to be realistic. The chances of us being able to turn around an eight or nine-goal difference is extremely difficult” he said in an interview with BBC.
Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities player Anim Cudjoe has featured in 15 games in all competitions for Dundee this season.
