As part of the watch party, the retired Black Stars captain announced Ojomo Moro as the 249th pick of the NFL draft who will be heading to the Philadelphia Eagles.

This was made possible because the NFL side, Philadelphia Eagles had already earned the rights to market in Ghana.

On June 1st, 2022, the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL were awarded the marketing rights to Ghana which made them the first team licensed by the NFL to market themselves in Africa and especially Ghana.

The launch was  dubbed NFL Africa: Touchdown.

As part of the Touchdown programme, the NFL hosted training and skill camps for athletes of various ages culminating in a fan zone event where fans got to interact with players and see the Vince Lombardi trophy in all its glory.

Philadelphia Eagles are a top side in the NFL and have won one Super Bowl in four appearances, which was the Super Bowl LII in 2018.

The Eagles defeated the New England Patriots and their quarterback Nick Foles was awarded the Super Bowl MVP award.

Philadelphia Eagles also suffered defeat to Kansas City Chiefs in February of 2023 in the Super Bowl.
