We hope it inspires more people in Ghana to get involved in American football and follow the Eagles.”

The announcement was a celebratory event, with emerging Eagles fans gathering to witness the historic moment. Appiah was joined by GATE Africa Executives, a host of influencers and media personnel, who were treated to some engaging activities with great music from MZ Ostin DJ and Merquary Quaye ahead of the pick.
