Black Stars winger, Kamaldeen Sulemana’s, future with Southampton is up in the air after the conclusion of the 2022-2023 English Premier League season.

The former Rennes player scored twice in Southampton’s season ending 4-4 draw with Liverpool with the Saints already relegated from the top division to the English Championship.

Following a record transfer from the French league in January, Sulemana largely struggled to impress in the league but ended the season on a high note by bagging his first goals for the club.

His future isn’t quite certain yet and he made this known in his post game interview with BBC’s Solent Sport.

“I’m ready for whatever’s next. If I stay, I’ll stay and help the team bounce back. If there’s an opportunity to explore I will take it.”

Sulemana played 18 EPL games and added an assist to his two goal tally. With Stade Rennes, the 21-year-old played 14 times in Ligue 1 and scored once in a matchup against AJ Auxerre on September 11, 2022.
