FC Samartex 1996 Football Club’s Business Development Manager, Paul Anyaba has stated that despite a shaky start to life in the betPawa Ghana Premier League, his side has recovered and is enjoying life in Ghana’s top flight.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, with the league debutant ranking eighth in the 18-team league standings, on the back of accruing 42 points.

The club recorded its 11th win of the season in 30 league games after beating 2020-2021 champions, Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club 3-2 at the Nsenkyire Stadium in Samreboi in the last round of games.

“We’ve been enjoying ourselves so far. We have had challenges when it comes to traveling. Because of where we are, we appear to be journeying very long when we go for away matches. We have had to manage ourselves very well in order not to get the players fatigued.
