Kudus Mohammed’s agent Jennifer Mendeleswitsch has confirmed reports of the Ajax star’s interest in continuing his career outside the Netherlands.
According to Dutch Journalist Mike Verweij, Kudus could possibly play his final game for Ajax when the Dutch giant takes on FC Twente on Sunday, May 28 and Kudus’ agent seemingly confirmed the reports.
Kudus has courted serious interest from English Premier League clubs Newcastle United, Liverpool and Manchester United.
“He has ignored a proposal to extend his contract until the summer of 2026. What I can say is that after the World Cup and this season there is a lot of interest in Kudus” Mendeleswitsch said.
Kudus impressed at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar where he scored two goals and added an assist in three games. His brace in a 3-2 win for Ghana over South Korea earned him the Man of the Match Award.
The 22 year old has 18 goals and six assists in 41 games in all competitions for Ajax this season with the Dutch side missing out on successfully defending the Eredivisie title.
He assisted Brian Brobbey in Ajax’s 3-1 win over FC Utrecht this past weekend.
