Bechem United Football Club Public Relations Officer Emmanuel Gyasi Atuahene has stated his outfit is looking to prove critics wrong by winning the betPAWA Ghana Premier League title.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports as the team prepares to take on fellow title contender Medeama SC away from home on Sunday, May 7.

Medeama ranks third in the league behind Bechem United and league leader Aduana Stars heading into the game and according to Atuahene, Bechem getting overlooked constantly serves as motivation to win it all this season.

“It is high time we used this match to the whole wide world that indeed we are in for the silverware this season…we believe that this is the point in time that we need to prove the critics wrong that we are not just in for competition but we are in for the title.”

Bechem United sits three points behind Aduana Stars (51 points) while Medeama having 47 points to its name with five games left to play in the league.
