Black Stars Head Coach Chris Hughton has called up Bechem United forward Hafiz Wontah Konkoni for next weekend’s TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar on June 18.
Konkoni will join the squad on Monday to begin preparations for the crucial AFCON match in Antananarivo.
His inclusion takes the number of players to 25 as Ghana aims to pick all the spoils and book another ticket for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cote D’Ivoire.
Hafiz Konkoni played 26 matches and scored 15 goals for the Hunters in the just-ended betPawa Premier League campaign.
Bechem United finished the season third on the league log with 53points
Ghana will play Madagascar in Antananarivo on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
