The Black Queens will open camp on Monday, July 3, 2023, ahead of the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games Qualifiers against Guinea.

As such, Nora Häuptle has invited 31 players, from which the squad will be trimmed down before facing Guinea.

Afi Amenyaku of Northern Ladies, following her heroics in the WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup of Nations in Kumasi, has been handed a debut call-up to the women’s senior national team.

Ernestina Abambilla, Jennifer Cudjoe, and Alice Kusi return after a long absence from the squad.

AS Far’s Blessing Shine Agbomadzi, who walked home with the 2023 Women’s Footballer of the Year award at the Ghana Football Awards, has also been named in the squad.

The first-round fixtures against Guinea are scheduled between July 10 and July 18, 2023.
