The Ghanaian midfielder was close to a move to the Serbian champions in the January transfer window from Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol but ended up with Spartak Subotica.
After half a season with Spartak Subotica, where he made 16 appearances, the 23-year-old now gets the big move to Red Star Belgrade and joins Osman Bukari.
Edmund Addo made his debut for the Black Stars in November 2021, coming off the bench in a World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia and has since made eight appearances for Ghana.
He has gradually cemented his spot in the team and has become a constant figure for Ghana.
