Ghana forward, Ben Bentil has won the Serbian Basketball League after Crvena Zvezda MTS (Red Star Belgrade) beat FMP Beograd 82-72 to clinch the title for the second time in a row.

Bentil starred in the win by registering 14 points and five rebounds in 21 minutes to rank second in scoring behind Luka Mitrovic who scored 16 points.

Red Star point guard, Facundo Campazzo registered 11 points and seven assists in the game; Campazzo was a midseason acquisition from the Denver Nuggets team that just got crowned as NBA champions.

The 28-year-old converted six of seven two-point shot attempts while converting two of a trio of three-point shot attempts. He missed two free throw attempts in the 10-point win.

This is Red Star Belgrade’s second league title win in a row and Bentil’s first in his debut season with the Serbian giant. He has won league titles in Greece with Panathinaikos and Italy with Olimpia Milano.
