Amartey, 28, who spent seven years at the club is among seven players who will leave the club after the end of their contracts.

Daniel Amartey joined the Premier League club from Copenhagen in 2016 for around £6 million and went on to achieve great things with the club.

Amartey over the past seven seasons at Leicester he scored three goals and had one assist in 145 games.

He was part of Leicester City’s title-winning season, helped the club to victory in the FA Cup final against Chelsea in the 2020/2021 season and also won the Community Shield with the club too.

Recent reports have linked Amartey with a potential move to Turkey, with Besiktas reported to have held talks with the player who is now a free agent.
