CAF CL: Medeama promise true Ghanaian football flair against Nigeria’s Remo Stars

In an exciting matchup at the CAF Champions League Preliminary stage, the Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC are eager to exhibit the authentic Ghanaian football flair when they go head-to-head against Nigerian club, Remo Stars.

The showdown starts with the first leg, to be hosted by the Tarkwa-based club on the weekend of August 18 to 20, 2023.

The return leg is scheduled for a week later on August 25 to 27.

Medeama, having proven their mettle in the 2016 CAF Confederations Cup where they reached the group stage, are now ready to conquer Africa once more.

Meanwhile, Remo Stars, the 2022-23 Nigeria Professional Football League runners-up, demonstrated their prowess in the domestic league, finishing just behind Enyimba FC.

The winner of this intense Medeama versus Remo Stars encounter will earn the privilege of locking horns with the 2022-23 Guinean league runners-up, Horoya FC, in a highly anticipated second round matchup.
