Ghana Premier League side, Karela United, is set to be moved from Ayinase in the Western region to the Northern region of Ghana.
This comes on the back of the club being acquired by Ghanaian politician, Haruna Iddrisu, in December 2022 during the break the betPawa Ghana Premier League for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The club, currently based in the Western Region, finished 8th in the Ghana Premier League last season with 47 points from 34 games.
