Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus was spotted in Ajax Amsterdam’s preseason win with a different jersey number.

Mohammed had the number “7” slapped on the back of his jersey which marks a departure from the jersey number 20 he has worn during his time with the Dutch giant.

Dutch forward Steven Bergwijn wore the jersey number “7” last season after joining Ajax following a frustrating time at English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs.

Kudus scored a brace and assisted Steven Bergwijn’s goal as Ajax beat Ukrainian side Shaktar Donetsk 3-0 to kick off its preseason campaign.

Former FC Nordsjaelland player Kudus scored the game’s first goal in the 18th minute by converting a penalty kick attempt.

His second came in the 33rd minute when he gathered a through ball from Bergwijn with his left foot to set himself up to strike the ball into far corner of the goal with his weaker right foot.
