Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has admitted that officiating has not been the best in recent seasons; however the Association is much committed to improving it and changing the narrative.
Officiating has been a worry and has heavily dominated the Ghanaian football space with the Ghana Premier League especially coming under scrutiny.
Some decsions in some games have sparked violent reactions from some supporters in the past.

“It’s true officiating has being one of the problems faced in the league”
“We need to make sure we fix the problem and I admit officiating is one area we have to take a critical attention to and channel our power to making it better” he said
“We promise to do better in the upcoming season and also continue to develop the game”
“An amount of GHC 300,000 will be pushed to the referee’s Committee to be fully funded and help develop the Catch Them Young Referees as well”. he added
