Legon Cities FC has appointed ex-Black Starlets coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin as the club’s new head coach for the 2023/24 season.
He takes over from Maxwell Konadu, who has departed to Nsoatreman FC.
The former Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak trainer will assume his role on 1 August, and further details regarding his contract will be disclosed during his unveiling ceremony.
In the 2022/2023 league campaign, Legon Cities secured a ninth-place finish, with a mere four-point cushion above the relegation zone.
With a wealth of experience in Ghanaian football, including stints with Inter Allies, Hearts of Lions, and most recently Aduana Stars, the 64-year-old coach brings valuable expertise to the team.
It is worth mentioning that in the previous Ghana Premier League season, Coach Fabin guided Aduana to a commendable second position, trailing Medeama with an impressive record of 15 wins, 10 draws, and 9 losses in 34 matches.
