England tops the list in UEFA European rankings
The UEFA European League rankings are data used in European football to determine the ranking and seed clubs in club and international tournaments.
They depend on adjusted arithmetic averages. The coefficients, which were first used in 1979 for men’s football competitions and later for women’s football and futsal, are computed by UEFA, which oversees football throughout Europe in addition to in Armenia, Israel, and the Asian regions of several continental nations.
The classification structure, which was only determined by UEFA every two years in November—defined as the moment when all UEFA countries had finished the qualifying phase for the forthcoming World Cup or European Championship tournament—was based on the performances of every European national football team.
