Ghana Football Association (GFA) Vice President Mark Addo has stated that having Kurt Okraku as GFA President is a privilege for Ghana’s football fraternity.
He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports after getting vetted by the election committee of the 2023 GFA Elections set to be held at the Redaach Hotel in Tamale.
Vice President Addo is vying with four other candidates for three Ghana Division One league club spots on the GFA Executive Council in the upcoming elections.
However, Addo took time to praise GFA President Okraku who is running for the Presidency for the second time. Addo pointed out that Ghana’s football fraternity is privileged to have Okraku as President.
“It’s a privilege for the football fraternity to have somebody like him (Kurt Okraku) so that drives me. To me, it’s a job not completed, it’s a job that we have just scratched the surface so there’s a lot more work to be done.
My goal is to be there to support him and the Executive Council to make sure that we put Ghana football first.”
