Lead men of Bechem United, Samartex FC and Karela United have officially submitted their nomination forms to contest for positions on the Ghana Football Association (GFA)’s Executive Council in the upcoming GFA elections.
Bechem United President Kingley Osei Bonsu, Karela CEO, Elloeny Amande and Samartex FC General Manager, Edmund Ackah is part of an 11 man group contending for a place on the Executive Council (EXCO).
The elections are slated to take place on September 27 at the Redaach Memorial Hotel in Tamale with incumbent President Kurt Okraku and George Afriyie vying for the Presidential spot.
The complete list of candidates was published by the GFA; the candidates will be vetted from August 21 to August 25.
However, the race to fill five Betpawa Ghana Premier League slots on the EXCO will be a battle between the 11 men who completed their nomination forms and submitted them before the deadline on Friday, August 11.
