West Ham United midfielder Keenan Appiah-Forson is open to play for the Ghanaian national team should he get the chance.

The 21 one year old was born to Ghanaian parents in the United Kingdom and desires to play for Ghana’s Black Stars.

“We have held talks about me playing for Ghana together with my parents. I have actually thought about this and I have always said if I get the call up from Ghana, I will always take it. Because this is where my parents are from.” He said on Saddick Adams TV while adding “I want to give back to them and show them what I’m capable of.”

He also stated his admiration of Ghanaian footballers Micheal Essien and Asamoah Gyan and called them an inspiration.
