West Ham United manager David Moyes has refused to be drawn into extensive conversation over a potential transfer for Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus.
The Hammers have reached a verbal agreement with Kudus’s Ajax Amsterdam over a 45 million euros, five year deal with a sell on clause according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
According to the Italian football transfer insider, Kudus is set to have his medicals with West Ham on Saturday, August 26.
Speaking in the pre match press conference as West Ham prepares to play Brighton and Hove Albion on Match Week 3 of the 2023-2024 English Premier League season, Moyes acknowledged Kudus’ hat trick in Ajax’s 4-1 win over Ludogrets Razgrad in the UEFA Europa League playoffs.
The result gives Ajax a huge advantage heading into the second leg.
“I am not going to talk about another player at another club. I don’t know what else to say but I did notice he scored a hat trick last night.
Kudus got substituted on the 90th minute after scoring in the 16th, 18th and 50th minutes respectively. Fellow Ghanaian Bernard Tekpetey played 56 minutes for Ludogrets Razgrad.
