Former Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Managing Director Neil Armstrong Mortagbe is hopeful remedial measures will be taken to avoid a repeat of the pain stakeholders of the Phobia club went through last season.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports as Hearts prepare to play Real Tamale United on Friday, September 15 at the Alhaji Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.

While touching on Hearts poor 2022-2023 campaign that had the Phobia club finish 12th in the 18 team BetPawa Ghana Premier League standings, the ex-Hearts MD said he was confused about the how the immediate past campaign panned out. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“Those who are close to the action who probably would conduct a thorough investigation and an introspection within both leadership of the club and the playing body and the technical team would be in the best position to say what went wrong and hopefully take remedial measures to ensure that the pain that we all went through this year we will not go through that pain again.”
