English attacker, Callum Hudson-Odoi, has confirmed to The Telegraph his consideration of a potential change in nationality to represent Ghana.

The 22-years old has already earned three caps for the English national team and possesses eligibility to play for Ghana through his parentage.

When asked about his aspirations to return to the international stage, Hudson-Odoi responded,

“That decision hasn’t been made yet. I’m still thinking it over.

Ghana is a very good option but let’s wait and see.

Hopefully, once I start playing games here, maybe Gareth [Southgate] or Ghana will come.

It’s a nice position to be in and hopefully, sooner or later we will know.”

Hudson-Odoi is on the verge of making his debut for Nottingham Forest, potentially facing Burnley on Monday, following his transfer from Chelsea.

He secured a three-year contract valued at £3 million, with the possibility of an additional £2 million in add-ons.
