Citi Sports can confirm that George Afriyie’s disqualification from the 2023 Ghana Football Association (GFA) Elections as an aspirant for the GFA Presidential seat has been upheld by the Appeals Committee of the Elections.

George Afriyie appealed the decision prior to the Monday, September 11 deadline but in a six page letter signed by Chairman of the Appeals Committee Agbesi K. Dzakpasu, the committee listed its reason for upholding the decision.
