Carabao Cup holders Manchester United will take on Newcastle United in the fourth round in what is a repeat of last year’s final.

Erik ten Hag ended the club’s notable trophy drought last term at Wembley and has his side in the hunt once again with a host of the Premier League’s main outfits also eyeing the season’s first piece of silverware.

United will again have to negotiate the Magpies with the fourth round ties to be played in the week commencing October 30.

Arsenal and Liverpool both secured victories to keep themselves in the mix.
Mikel Arteta’s side will face West Ham – seeking their first success in this tournament for 30 years – whilst the Merseysiders take on Bournemouth. Mansfield, the only League Two side still in the Carabao Cup, will face Port Vale, who are flying high in the third tier.
Chelsea have endured a horror start to the campaign but Mauricio Pochettino has found some relief in the cup. His side will take on Blackburn Rovers in west London next.
