Real Madrid have been very unlucky this season with injuries. Turkish prodigy Arda Guler, who left Fenerbahce and joined the Spanish club this summer, had been unable to make his debut due to a meniscus injury he suffered in pre-season.

Anterior cruciate ligament injuries to Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao added to the blow for Los Blancos, who also suffered the loss of Carvajal and Vinicius Jr to minor injuries recently.

With club coach Carlo Ancelotti himself confirming that Arda Guler, along with Carvajal and Vinicius, was ready to return to action against Las Palmas on Wednesday, the young Turk has suffered a blow.

The ‘Merengues’ have issued a statement announcing that the former Fenerbahce player has been injured again, this time with an injury to the left anterior rectus muscle, which is still awaiting further evaluation.
