Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has laid out his readiness to help West Ham United win as many games as possible.
He said this in the aftermath of The Hammers 3-1 win over Backa Topola in the first round of games in the 2023-2024 UEFA Europa League season group stage.
Kudus scored his debut goal in the win in the 70th minute after starting for the first time since joining West Ham from Ajax Amsterdam.
Speaking after the win, Kudus was delighted with the result and his goal and went on to express his keenness to help his team.
“I am here to help and as you have seen today, I just did my best for the team…I have been here for a short time but it feels like I have been here for a long time already because everyone around the team helps me.”
Kudus tucked away tucked away Said Benrahma’s cross after peeling to the back of Topola’s backline to put West Ham up 2-1.
West Ham plays Liverpool in the English Premier League on Sunday, September 24.
