Argentine superstar Lionel Messi has made a flying start to life in the Major League Soccer (MLS) after moving from Paris Saint-Germain to Inter Miami.
The 36 year old scored 11 goals in 10 games to inspire Inter Miami win its first ever trophy by clinching the Leagues Cup.
Since joining the team, Messi has inspired a dramatic turnaround in form for the young franchise that was historically bad prompting the dismissal of former English player Phil Neville.
Messi’s brilliant run continued as he scored the only goal in Argentina’s 1-0 win over Ecuador in the international break.
However, he was rested in the World Champions 3-0 win over Bolivia in the South America qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Widely considered the greatest footballer ever, Messi has settled into his new city quickly and by snagging a plush mansion worth close $11 million in Miami, the 2022 World Cup winner is deepening his roots in Miami.
Overlooking a water front, the mansion is decked with modern architecture and pleasures of an elite wealthy athlete.
