American midfielder Brenden Aaronson says he expects the United States of America’s game against Ghana to be an aggressive one.
He said this in a pregame interview as the Americans prepare to play its second international friendly game in this FIFA window on Wednesday, October 18 at the Geodis Park in Nashville at 12:30 AM GMT.
The Union Berlin player featured in USA’s 1-3 loss to Germany this past weekend off the bench as he replaced Tim Weah.
Aside expecting an aggressive game, Aaronson believes the fixture will be a tough one with a lot of high pressing from the Ghanaians.
“Every continent is different with the way they play football and I think it’s going to be an aggressive game, they’re going to come after us, I think there’s going to be a lot of pressing and I think it’s going to be a tough game really.”
Aaronson is on loan at Berlin from English Championship side Leeds United and has played eight games in all competitions this season.
