United States of America National Men’s Football Team defender Chris Richards believes the team’s tie against Ghana’s Black Stars will be a more open encounter than the one the Americans had against Germany.

USA lost 1-3 to the Germans this past weekend and Richards believes playing against Ghana on Wednesday, October 18 at 12:30 AM GMT might be more of an open contest than the one they played against Germany.

US midfielder Brenden Aaronson stated that the game against Ghana will be an aggressive one with a lot of high pressing from the Black Stars. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

23 year old Crystal Palace defender Chris Richards said, “Germans are kind of known for being very disciplined in whatever they do and so I think Ghana might be more of an open game. Two different styles of play that we just have to be ready to play against.”

“I think you gain a lot of experience from winning but I also think you gain a bit more from losing so we’re going to use everything that we didn’t do well in the Germany game and hopefully do it against Ghana.”
