I am happy for him- Leicester City Boss on Fatawu Issahaku

Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca has praised Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku’s efforts in The Foxes 3-1 win over Swansea City.

Issahaku scored his debut goal in Leicester’s 3-1 win over Swansea over the weekend; the win keeps Leicester atop the English Championship standings.

The former Dreams FC player who is on loan from Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon, scored Leicester’s second after controlling the ball inside the penalty box before sweeping the ball into the top of the net. (Click highlighted text to read story)

Speaking in the post game presser, former Manchester City assistant coach, Maresca, was happy with the efforts of his winger.

“Abdul was on the other side and then in the second half, he was forward. They are small details. I’m happy for both of them (Fatawu and Stephy Mavididi).”

Issahaku has a goal and an assist in nine games this season in all competitions; Leicester takes on Sunderland on Tuesday, October 24.

Leicester leads the standings with 33 points after 12 games and holds a five point lead over second placed Ipswich Town. Ipswich has played a game fewer than Leicester.
