Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has pointed to Augustine Okrah’s goal as the changing point in Kotoko’s 1-1 draw with Bechem United.

The Porcupine Warriors recorded a draw for the second game in a row in the BetPawa Premier League after failing to hold on to Peter Acquah’s first half goal that put Kotoko in the lead.

Speaking in a post game interview, Dr. Ogum wasn’t happy with his team’s inability to convert chances in the first half and bury Bechem and went on to talk about how Becehem’s goal changed the game.

“I think we played well in the first half, we created a lot of chances which we should have ended the game in the first half but we didn’t take our chances. They came back in the second half got a goal and that changed the complexity of the game.”

“I think the issue was their equalizer the goal that they scored I think that gave some energy it was a psychological goal. It gave them some energy.”
