Week 6 of the Ghana Premier league came with it’s fair share of shocks and excitement

Asante Kotoko’s winning streak came to an end as were held to a 2-2 draw on their visit to newly promoted Nations FC.

Hearts of Oak’s woes continued at home where Sarmatex held the phobians to a goalless draw. That makes it four games without a win for Martin Koopman’s men.

Ghana’s representatives on the African continent Medeama SC and Dreams FC played out a exciting three goal thriller with Dreams emerging 2-1 victors.

Nsoatreman got the better of Legon Cities when the Accra based side came visiting, beating them 2-0 to go top of the table with a game in hand against the defending champions Medeama SC.

Bechem United had to dig deep to find two goals in the second half at home against Brekum Chelsea with the game ending 2-0.

Elsewhere an Isaac Mintah first half brace  edged Aduana Stars on to a 3-1 win when they were visited by Great Olympics.

Karela and Bofokwa Tano played out a drab goalless draw whiles Real Tamale grabbed an away win beating Accra Lions by 3-1 in what was a convincing victory.

Heart of Lions will visit Bibiani Gold Stars on Monday to draw the curtains on what has been an exciting sixth round of the betPawa Ghana Premier League
