US National Men’s Football Team head coach Gregg Berhalter has identified one quality Ghana showed despite losing heavily to the Americans in an international friendly game.

The Black Stars lost 0-4 to the US on October 18 at the Geodis Park in Nashville with all four goals coming in 22 minutes in the first half.

Berhalter pointed to Ghana not giving up despite trailing by four goals early in the game, as an important quality the team showed in his post game interview address.

“Being down four nothing at half time, Ghana had a choice; they could have mailed in the second half and could have lost eight nothing but they didn’t do that. They kept fighting till the last minute of the game. They didn’t play a great half but they didn’t give up and that’s an important quality that a team shows.”
