Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club head coach, Martin Koopman, is adamant his team is close to winning games after recording yet another draw.

Hearts drew 1-1 with Bibiani Gold Stars at the Dun’s Park and in the process picked up its first point away from home in the 2023-2024 Betpawa Premier League season.

The result means Hearts of Oak has recorded three drawn results in a row after drawing goalless with Dreams FC and Samartex before taking on Gold Stars.

Speaking after the game, Koopman was confident his team is close to turning such results into wins stating,

“We are close to it (winning). We work very hard on it (finishing) in the week and now it’s coming a little bit more and more in the game so the fighting spirit is there, the way we play is okay. Now we have to score and it’s coming for sure.”
