United States of America midfielder Christian Pulisic has pegged the team’s performance against Ghana’s Black Stars as a great one.
Pulisic scored in the USA’s 4-0 win over Ghana in an international friendly game on October 18 on the back of losing 1-3 to Germany in a previous international friendly encounter.
All four goals were registered in the first half against a Black Stars that failed to improve its performance from a 0-2 loss to Mexico.
“It was huge for us. Obviously, you know that first half you could just see the enthusiasm in the group and yeah it was a great performance obviously nice to get the four goals in the first half so it was a good turn around for us.”
American captain Pulisic starred against Germany and Ghana and scored in both games. Folarin Balogun and a brace from Gio Reyna sealed the big win against Ghana.
On the flip side, Ghana head coach, Chris Hughton expressed his disappointment with the result and performance of his team in a post game interview. (Click highlighted teat to read full story)
