Ghana forward Inaki Williams has talked about the approach Athletic Bilbao will adopt in its opening round tie in the Copa Del Rey.
Bilbao is scheduled to play lower division side UE Rubi on Wednesday, November 1 at 20:30 GMT away from home in the first round of games in the Spanish FA Cup.
Williams said this in a postgame interview after Bilbao drew 2-2 with Valencia CF in the Spanish league; Williams registered an assist and his younger brother Nico Williams did same in the game.
The Black Stars forward is yet to score for Ghana after 11 appearances but has four goals and three assists in 11 games this season and ahead of the Copa Del Rey tie, the 29 year old said,
“It’s a very special tournament for us, for all the players, we face it with the greatest enthusiasm and with the greatest humility. We are going to a field that is complicated and we are not used to it.”
Bilbao has won the Copa Del Rey 23 times.
