Black Stars trio Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus and Ernest Nuamah has been nominated in the 2023 CAF Awards categories.

Partey and Kudus made the 30 man shortlist for the CAF Men’s Footballer of the Year Award announcd earlier today by Africa’s football governing body.

The Awards ceremony will be held on December 11 in Marrakech, Morocco with the shortlist named by a panel of CAF Technical Experts, African football legends and selected sports journalists.

30 year old Partey excelled in his third season at the Emirates Stadium helping Arsenal to launch a successful campaign that almost yielded the team’s first league title since the 2003-2004 season.

Fellow midfielder Kudus excelled at Ajax Amsterdam with 18 goals and seven assists in the 2022-2023 season before scoring a hat-trick earlier this season prior to securing a move to English Premier League side West Ham United.
