Jordan Ayew is one of Crystal Palace’s best signings- Roy Hodgson

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has described Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew as one of the team’s best signings.

He said this in a pre game press conference to Crystal Palace’s official media channel as Palace prepares to take on 19th ranked Burnley on Saturday at 15:00 GMT at Bramall Lane.

Ayew recently signed a one year contract extension that is expected to keep him at Palace till June 30, 2025 after joining the team initially on loan in the 2018-2019 season. (Click highlighted text to read full story)

Speaking on varies issues including the team’s campaign thus far minus injured play makers Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, Hodgson talked about the 32 year old Ghanaian player.

“He’s got better and better. I mean I think he’s been one of the club’s best signings because we had him for six months on loan and at the end of that we made the loan permanent… and he’s given five further years of quite incredible service.”

Jordan Ayew has a goal and three assists in 12 games in all competitions; his sole goal this season came in Palace’s 1-2 loss to Tottenham Hotspurs.
