Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club head coach, Martin Koopman, believes his side was unlucky to miss out on a win in its latest BetPawa Premier League outing.
Speaking in the post game presser after Hearts goalless draw against city rival Legon Cities, the Dutch trainer said the result ended the way it did because it just wasn’t the Phobians day.
“You saw against Medeama that we can score three goals so we tried to find the solution in the game with two strikers but it wasn’t our day. We are working hard and hopefully we can win a game; this team deserves a win.” Koopman said.
The draw is Hearts third in a row after scoring similar draw results against Karela United and Kpando Hearts of Lions after bagging a shock 3-1 win over defending league champions Betpawa League.
The Phobia club plays Accra Lions and Berekum Chelsea next with both games scheduled to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak ranks 11th in the 18 team league standings after picking up two wins, six draws and two losses 10 games into the 2023-2024 season.
