Kotoko head coach Dr. Ogum

Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has called on the media to be circumspect with its reportage on the team.

He said this in his very emotive speech delivered at a presser organized by the club to address issues hurting the Porcupine Warriors as the record Ghanaian Premier League winners struggle in the 2023-2024 BetPawa Premier League.

Kotoko ranks 14th in the 18 team league standings after drawing two games and losing another two in a four game stretch.

After speaking on his young players ability to play in the first team and taking a swipe at “Politicians” in Kotoko, Dr. Ogum directed his ire at the media saying, (Click highlighted text to read full story)

“You-the media-rather should look at things critically and then talk to those issues as they are. Do not discuss issues based on emotions but discuss issues based on tactical facts.”

Kotoko plays FC Samartex 1996 on Saturday, November 11 and Medeama SC on Sunday, November 19.
