Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club striker Steven Mukwala scored twice in Kotoko’s 3-2 win over arch rival Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club and has described the experience as an “amazing feeling”.

He said this in a post game interview after bagging a brace in the important win for The Porcupine Warriors; beating Hearts means Kotoko has four wins in a row.

The Ugandan forward added an assist to his tally in the game and was named as the Man of The Match Award winner for his sterling display.

After struggling early in the season, Mukwala has been in fine form scoring four goals in three games including wins over Legon Cities and Berekum Chelsea.

Speaking after scoring twice in his Man of The Match Award winning performance, Mukwala said, “It’s really amazing.”

“I am speechless; scoring in a derby is a great feeling. In a derby…just get the three points and make the fans happy that’s all.”
