The NISAC is due to run from February 24 to February 28, 2024 in Accra with athletes picked from senior high schools representing regions in the nation to compete over a four day period.

The CITI TV CEO signed the deal in the presence of Ghana Athletics Bawa Fuseini, CITI TV Business Manager Omane Mensah-Bonsu and CITI TV General Manager Bernard Avle.

After signing the agreement with Ghana Athletics, CITI TV CEO Attah-Mensah said, “Looking at the way that sports is playing up at the global level, we believe that the missing link in Ghana is the media platform that is dedicated to promoting that particular sporting discipline of athletics.”

“We haven’t given it the needed thrust through the media. For this one (NISAC) we thought that we should give it a more formal structure which is the reason we came into this agreement with Ghana Athletics not just to promote but to also help organize the whole event.”
