Black Stars forward Kudus Mohammed has described West Ham’s 2-0 win over Manchester United as a gift from the team to the fans.
He said this after scoring in the 2-0 win that moves West Ham to sixth place in the EPL standings at the time of writing while Man United drop to eighth place. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
Kudus scored his 10th goal in all competitions and his fourth in four games for West Ham by drilling a fine strike with his right foot into the bottom right corner of the post.
In a post-game interview, Kudus was happy West Ham’s final home game of 2023 ended in a win the former Ajax player described as a “Christmas gift” for the fans.
“We stayed disciplined and like I said, you know, am very happy for us to win this for them-West Ham fans-they are going to have their amazing Christmas to enjoy and this-beating Man United-is a gift from us to them.”
Kudus and Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paqueta combined for a goal in back to back Premier League games.
