Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has won the Man of the Match Award after delivering a sterling performance against Manchester United.

West Ham beat Man United 2-0 with Kudus scoring the game’s second goal in the 76th minute off a Lucas Paqueta pass.

Kudus started the move after picking the ball off Kobbie Mainoo who lost possession inside Man United’s half.

Mainoo is an 18 year old English midfielder who is a Man United Academy product and is of Ghanaian descent; he is eligible to play for the Black Stars.

Aside scoring his fourth goal in four games in all competitions and ninth overall since joining West Ham from Ajax Amsterdam, Kudus led the game in several statistical categories.

Kudus completed the most take-ons in the game against Man United (five), won the most tackles (five),  and won the most duels (13) in the contest. He tied the game for the most ball recoveries (eight).
