Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has shared a heart-warming moment with a young fan after scoring his seventh goal for West Ham United.
The moment captured on a video has gone viral with the Black Stars player autographing a jersey for the young fan who displayed the Ghana flag at the London Stadium.
Kudus made his way to the section of the stadium and took a picture with the young fan after scoring in West Ham’s 2-0 win over SC Freiburg in the Europa League. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
The win ensured West Ham finished in first place in Group A with five wins in six games in Group A; Edson Alvarez scored The Hammers second goal after assisting Kudus to score the team’s first goal.
Kudus has endeared himself to West Ham fans after joining the team in the offseason from Ajax Amsterdam and recently had his goal against Brentford voted as the Goal of the Month in November.
The Black Stars player is expected to be named in Chris Hughton’s squad for the 2023 AFCON campaign in Cote D’Ivoire.
Ghana is in Group B with Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
