Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club striker Steven Mukwala is adamant about his team’s chances of winning its headline matchup against bitter rival Accra Hearts of Oak.
He said this ahead of the biggest game in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, December 10 at 15:00 GMT at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Mukwala scored to give Kotoko a 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in its latest league outing with the goal marking the Ugandan striker’s third game in a row with a goal in all competitions after scoring in wins over Legon Cities and Nations FC.

“We are expecting a good game. We’ve picked up our momentum now. With the form we have now, I think we shall win the match. We shall still push until we get the ultimate goal” Mukwala said.
On the other hand, Hearts of Oak is going through a poor run and lost its last league game 0-1 to Aduana Stars and has sacked Martinus Koopman from his head coach role.
