“The best African player in the history of Ligue 1 Uber Eats for me is Abedi Pele. He’s my father. He’s the person who impressed me the most and with age and time, the more I grew, the more I really realize everything he did.”

With Olympique Marseille, Abedi won the 1993 UEFA Champions League and two Ligue 1 titles while being named African Footballer of the Year three times.

Andre is the son of Abedi and both have served as captains of Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, the Black Stars, in their careers.
